Richard Pandohie

Richard Pandohie is a passionate Jamaican who prides himself on giving back and building brand Jamaica. He has supported many communities in Jamaica, targeting the most vulnerable in the society and created opportunities for young Jamaicans through internship programs.

He was appointed President of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association in 2019. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Corporate Finance and Operations Management from the McGill University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of the West Indies. Mr. Pandohie is also the CEO of Seprod Group, Jamaica largest manufacturing group.

He is widely respected as a transformational and visionary leader by key stakeholders and has held several managerial and board positions in corporations in the Caribbean and Central America.


Junior Bennett

Junior Bennett, successfully completed his Bachelor of Education in Industrial Technology majoring in Electrical at the top of his class, and was the recipient of Scholarship/graduate Assistantship from the Western Illinois University (WIU), USA to pursue a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Systems. He graduated from WIU as the Most Outstanding Graduate Engineering Student.

He is presently a full-time Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing at the University of Technology, Jamaica. He is the first Jamaican to be a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMFGE) and Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT) from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in the USA. He is a registered Industrial Engineer with the Professional Engineering Registration Board (PERB), Jamaica. Since August 2019, he has been inducted as one of Jamaica’s Productivity Ambassadors by the Jamaica Productivity Centre (JPC).

He is the Industrial Engineering Programme Leader and Industrial Work Experience Coordinator for the School of Engineering at UTech Ja. He lectures at the undergrad and masters level on Operations Research, Management, Design, Safety and Reliability Engineering, Lean Manufacturing Systems. Junior Bennett is an active researcher and is the leader for the UTech JA Staff Productivity Researchers and has presented at several conferences locally.

He is also a Corporate member of the Jamaica Institution of Engineers (JIE) and past Council Member. He has also been appointed as the Jamaica Institution of Engineers (JIE) representative on the Board of Commissioners for the National Commission on Science and Technology (NCST).


Jonathan Isaacs

Jonathan Isaacs is an Industrial Engineer with extensive experience in energy management, business process improvement, and the application of productivity improvement tools and techniques. His professional experience spans a diverse mix of industries both regionally and locally, within the private and public sectors. Jonathan’s technical acumen and team-oriented leadership style have enabled him to create value for various stakeholders, through his involvement with several project initiatives.

His passion for engineering led him to pursue a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a Production Minor, and a Bachelors of Engineering in Industrial Engineering with an Engineering Management Minor, at The University of Technology, Jamaica. Additionally, Jonathan has successfully participated in professionally certified programmes, which have qualified him even further through certifications he has received from these programmes, in Energy Management, Lean Six Sigma, and Scrum.


Christopher Udeagha

Christopher Udeagha is a Senior lecturer in School of Computing & Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering & Computing, and University of Technology, Jamaica. He is a holder of MBA and B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology, with Major in Electronic and Computer Engineering, from Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria, Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Digital Technology, from University of West Indies 2008.

 


Captain Hopeton DeLisser

Captain Hopeton DeLisser has been associated with the Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) for over forty (40) years, having joined the organization in 1978. He presently holds the position of Harbour Master of Jamaica and Vice President, Harbours & Port Services.

His duties entail the overall administration of port and harbour services for which the Port Authority has responsibility, in addition to the statutory functions of the Harbour Master.

He has served in several capacities within the Maritime Sector, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Maritime Institute (now Caribbean Maritime University), which is the Regional Maritime Training arm for seafarers and allied professions. He has also served on other boards, including the Quarantine Authority and the Port Security Corp.


Rupert James

Rupert James, a Registered Professional Engineer, is the holder of a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical) from the University of Technology Jamaica (UTech) and a Certified Lead Auditor for OSHA 18000 for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.

Presently, he is the Facilities Manager at the with responsibility for Maintenance of all the Port Authority assets and designs and construction of Electro-mechanical Systems for new facilities.
Mr. James has over 25 years of experience of providing leadership in the maintenance of electro-mechanical systems, including:

  • Maintenance of High voltage Distribution Network at the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPSCO).
  • Maintenance of equipment in the Food and Beverage Industry including Red Stripe and WISYNCO.
  • Maintenance of port facilities and equipment.
  • Project Management for the design and construction of electrical /mechanical systems.

Kellesia Ebanks

Kellesia Ebanks is a Certified Professional Mechanical Engineer who specializes in the Building Service and Energy Engineering Field. She works as an Engineered Solutions Manager at Denn Dock & Company Ltd. She is a Graduate of the UWI, Mona and Brunel University London where she achieved her Masters as a Chevening Scholar. Additionally, as a youth leader in the sciences and the theater arts, Kellesia received the prominent Prime Minister’s Youth Award for leadership in 2018.

Godfrey Boyd

Godfrey Boyd is a Professional Engineer and Executive Management professional with over 30 years experience in strategic planning, project management, maintenance engineering, electrical power systems design, clinical and health services and quality assurance, & customer service in the Energy Sector, Health and Petroleum Industries. He is currently the General Manager at the Petroleum Company of Jamaica; and Lecturer at UTech in numerous courses such as Facilities and Maintenance Management, Operations Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, and Clinical & Bio-medical Engineering.

He is also a past president of the Rotary Club of New Kingston, and former CEO of the Kingston Public & Victoria Jubilee Hospitals under the South East Regional Authority (SERHA) in the Ministry of Health.
